Biography

Will Kirby is a board certified dermatologist, an osteopathic physician, the owner of Kirby Dermatology, a medical text book and dermatological journal article author, spokesman, angel investor and a reality television personality known for winning the American program Big Brother 2 and The Price is Right with multiple appearances on medical television programing including multiple seasons of Dr. 90210, The Doctors and on QVC.

Early life

Born in Florence, Italy, Kirby went to kindergarten in Paris, France and spent considerable time in his youth in Tallahassee, Florida where he graduated high school from Florida State University High School (colloquially "Florida High"). In 1995, Kirby received his degree in Biology from Emory University.

Television career

After winning CBS's Big Brother in 2001, Kirby briefly served as a medical correspondent for Extra!. He appeared in an episode of The Young and the Restless in late October 2006. He was also heavily featured on two seasons of the E! Channel television series Dr. 90210 and made appearances on episodes of Regis & Kelly, The Talk, LA Ink, Chelsea Lately (August 2008), Reality Bites Back (starring Amy Schumer and Theo Von) and Fox News. Additionally, Kirby has made several appearances on The Doctors as himself, during 2008 and 2009 and 2012. In 2008, Dr. Kirby appeared on multiple episodes of E! News . On March 6, 2011, Kirby appeared in the sixth season premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County. In 2013, 2014 and 2015, he hosted the jury roundtable segment of the CBS Big Brother season finales. He also recorded voices for a season 8 episode of Adult Swim's Robot Chicken where he played an animated physician and appeared in Andy Cohen's Then and Now on Bravo. In May of 2016 Dr. Kirby won a celebrity edition of the hit CBS show, The Price is Right and his winnings ($51,030) were donated to charity. He has appeared on more than 35 television shows.

Medical and Professional Career

Dr. Kirby received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his first year of postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. His dermatology residency training took place in association with Western University/Pacific Hospital where he was honored by being selected to serve as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology. Currently, Kirby serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Western University of Health Sciences and as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Dermatology, for Nova Southeastern University. He is also an expert reviewer for the Osteopathic Medical Board of California. In addition to serving as a medical expert in legal cases involving laser tattoo removal, Kirby lectures frequently at national medical conventions on advanced laser tattoo removal techniques and he has published multiple tattoo removal articles in medical journals, including articles in The Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology and The Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology. He has authored and co-authored multiple medical text book chapters regarding lasers and their implications. A licensed osteopathic physician in the state of California since 2002, Kirby is recognized as a Fellow by the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and is a board certified dermatologist. In 2004 Kirby founded a laser tattoo removal chain in Beverly Hills, California, which he grew to ten clinics as of early 2015 at which time he sold his financial interests in the company and resigned his executive position to pursue other professional endeavors. Dr. Kirby is currently a member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (AOCD), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and in the past has held membership in the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Medical Association (AMA). Kirby also served as the national spokesman for Johnson & Johnson's Neutrogena Dermatologics where he appeared live on QVC more than 100 times, for Kimberly Clark's Truist skin care line and as a social media partner for Unilever's Dove Men+Care.

Personal life

Kirby and his longtime fiancée Erin Brodie have two children. Their son, William Cassius "Cash" Kirby, was born in May 2010. In 2012, Brodie gave birth to the couple's daughter, Scarlett.
