O-Lan Jones (born May 23, 1950) is an American actress. She is perhaps most known for her role as Esmeralda in Edward Scissorhands.

Early life
Jones was born in Los Angeles, California. Her first name comes from the heroine of the novel The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck. Her father deserted the family when his daughter was a child. Her mother, Scarlett Johnson, married Johnny Dark. In 1979, Scarlett suffered a stroke and aphasia.
