Lenz grew up in northeast Ohio and started modeling in her teens. She first came to public attention in 2000, appearing as the Playmate of the Month for March 2000, and being featured in the November issue of W photographed by Mario Sorrenti. She subsequently signed a modeling contract with Elite modeling agency, before appearing on the cover of GQ as well as men's magazines including Italian Max and Stuff magazine, where she was ranked number 94 of the 100 Sexiest Women Of 2007.
Lenz made her film debut in August 2003 in Confidence, directed by James Foley, and has since appeared in several independent and feature films, including My Sister's Keeper, Seeing Other People, Toxic, Kush, and Fanboys. She also appeared in an episode of CSI: NY, "Playing with Matches" in 2008.
Lenz has also done print work for Lee Jeans, Paul Mitchell, Airwalk, and Trucco and appeared in high fashion magazine's such as Vogue (Italy), Glamour, and Marie Claire. She also appeared in the Skyy Vodka 2005 campaign shot by David LaChapelle and 2006 Bacardi ad Campaign shot by Teri Richardson.
Lenz has also appeared in several music videos, including for Elton John, Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams, and Duran Duran, and is featured in Chevelle's The Clincher.
Lenz now tours as a motivational, keynote speaker lecturing on numerous topics, as well as holds workshops teaching Yoga for self-development. In 2014, Lenz founded Earth Healthcare, an organizational Healthcare company that strives to bring Yoga and Meditation, more specifically Kundalini Yoga, to mainstream healthcare and corporate culture.
Lenz also lends her support to a number of philanthropic causes, such as Embracing the world, and Project Earthbound.
