James Alexander Campanis (born February 9, 1944 in New York City), is a former professional baseball player who played in the Major Leagues primarily as a catcher from 1966 to 1970 and 1973. Campanis batted and threw right-handed.

  • He is the son of the late Al Campanis.
  • On December 16, 1968, his father who was the current General Manager of the Dodgers at the time, traded Jim to the Kansas City Royals for two minor leaguers and cash.
