Dave Hollister (born August 17, 1971) is an American R&B vocalist who found fame during the 1990s as one quarter of the Platinum-selling R&B quartet Blackstreet before going on to a solo career. He is the cousin of R&B singers K-Ci and Jojo, Fantasia Barrino, and Neo Soul singer Calvin Richardson.
Dave Hollister was an original member of Teddy's Riles Blackstreet from 1993-1995. Hollister left Dreamworks for Motown in 2002. In 2003, Hollister began battling a dependence on alcohol and cocaine. In 2006, Hollister suffered bad car wreck due to the influence of alcohol. This led Hollister to a life changing spiritual experience and Holister is now a gospel singer and a preacher.
